Our Approach to Funding
The family team offer a fully inclusive service for privately paying and publicly funded (known as Legal Aid) clients.
We will be entirely straight with you in relation to our hourly charge out rates, disbursements, and will provide you with written estimates of costs which will be updated regularly. We understand the importance of clarity at the outset of a case in relation to issues of funding.
We pride ourselves in the high quality service that we provide to publicly funded clients particularly those involved in Care Proceedings.
Parents who have been sent a letter by Social Services inviting them to attend a meeting before action or have been served with care proceedings are entitled to free legal aid.
Since 1 April 2013 the circumstances in which legal aid is available for other family matter is limited.
